BOARD MEMBER

After completing her undergraduate degree in accounting, Dr. Doris Feltham began her career as an auditor for a public accounting firm.  While working in public accounting providing auditing, tax preparation, and small business consulting, she enjoyed training/mentoring staff and educating clients on accounting/tax procedures.

While completing her master’s in business administration, Dr. Feltham had an opportunity to teach an entry-level accounting course and discovered she enjoyed teaching. This experience began the multi-year transition from public accounting and adjunct teaching to completing a doctoral program and full-time teaching.

In addition to providing auditing and consulting services to nonprofit organizations, Dr. Feltham has taught nonprofit and governmental accounting and served on multiple nonprofit organization boards.

Dr. Feltham is currently an assistant professor of accounting at Northeastern State University, where she teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs.
