Fortify Global is looking to pull on the generosity of the local community to collect items that will help international students coming into the States for the very first time this fall semester. As you may know, Tulsa is becoming an increasingly popular destination for students from around the world seeking to further their education. These students bring diverse perspectives and enrich our community in numerous ways. However, the transition to a new country, culture, and educational system can be daunting, especially when it comes to obtaining essential school supplies.

To facilitate their smooth integration and ensure a successful start to their academic journey, we are organizing a Welcome Basket Collection Drive starting July 24 through the first Sunday of September (9/1/24). By providing basic school supplies such as notebooks, pens, bedding, towels, backpacks, and other essentials, we can alleviate some of the initial challenges these students face. More importantly, this gesture will extend a warm welcome and demonstrate the hospitality for which Tulsa is renowned.

We are aiming to reach around 100 incoming students this semester from all across Tulsa! Each Welcome Basket costs approximately $200. Any donation amount is welcome!
